And the last nice-finished piece from my vacation. These pine trees are EVERYWHERE in Washington, and it seems like they’re all skyscraper tall. The inner neurotic me is terrified that no matter where you park in Washington your car will always be within striking distance of a falling tree. (On even slightly rainy days in Ohio I adamantly DO NOT park within the fall-radius of any tree. I experienced the derecho of 2012, man, I KNOW our trees have no structural integrity here.)
Another piece from my vacation in Washington! My boyfriend’s dad and brother went out to try and catch some salmon one of the mornings we were there and had zero luck (after having a frustrating drive all over the area trying to find a spot they could actually fish at). So, I was inspired to draw a bear failing at catching some salmon. Salmon have really weird faces, btw.
I just got back from an awesome amazing vacation in Seabeck, Washington so I’m gonna start posting the drawings I did while there (and while without PC access GASP!). It was so nature-y and wonderful and relaxing, I basically want to live there forever now.
I actually totaled my car RIGHT before leaving on a trip out to the store to get some last minute things. It wasn’t my fault, but unfortunately since it was a lease and because of some other life circumstances I’m out of a car for the foreseeable future.
So, pretty soon I’m gonna make a nice big post (for real this time) of commission rates and all that jazz because my wallet is so sad and tiny. :(
Just got home from a little trip up to my hometown for my sister’s wedding (which was SOFUNANDAMAZINGANDAHH), and decided to do a little sketch to warm me back up from not drawing a whole lot the last few days. (And also to celebrate Shark Week)!
