Aaaand the last sketch of this grouping that I made this week. Everyone’s favorite Sherlock. :D
I think I’m starting to get the hang of drawing recognizable portraits. You just have to have patience in those first building block stages. Which has always been stupidly hard for me.
A quick sketch from this week, based off of a Flickr photo. Messing around with more interesting line-work-y-ness.
Another brush-a-day thing. (I made like… 3 brushes today! And I might actually use one of them regularly!)
This was one of the ones I might not use so much, I used it to make the base shape of the bush with the glowing fruit.
I was kind of inspired by the woodcut style used in the Diablo 3 cutscenes today. I was thinking that that kind of thing might be fun to play around with. So I did! Kind of a little.

Takin a break from some other work, and making pixel art of Alucinor characters…
Pixel art is actually pretty darn hard. This is supposed to be Lily, but I was using FF3 sprites as inspiration, and those are waaay more interesting looking. They seem to “pop” more.
